I began my TTC journey in January 2005. It finally worked with the 5th IUI and along came Eliana! I started trying for a second (T42) a little over a year later, and was thrilled to get pregnant on the second try this time. Jacob soon joined our family! Not sure if I am done at two, but come along for my journey in motherhood. If you stop by, please leave me a short note! I like to know when I have visitors. :)

I'm tempted

I am definitely tempted to do this...I could do it as early as NEXT FRIDAY!

50%? From what I have read and heard from others on the pregnancy lists it is about 90%. Plus, they offer 200% guarantee if its wrong....oh, I am just so tempted, but it is a lot of money for something I will likely end up finding out for a $10 copay sometime during my pregnancy!

If you do it, you have to share the results, but it does seem like a lot of money. For $275 I'll tell you what it is. I have a 50% chance of being right, but sorry...no money-back guarantee. LOL :)

As one of the cusp of motherhood for the second time, I can honestly say that at least for me it wasn't that big of a deal to know the gender in advance. In November 2001, we were told that Enzo was a girl. Found out in March 2002 that was wrong and he was born about 3 weeks after realising that the she we thought we were having was really a he. And the current baby-on-board...well we had no inkling of gender until this week, and I'm now 32 weeks pregnant.

It's your decision and ultimately your money, but if it were me, I'd probably save the money for something else. You never know when that might come in handy.

Carrie, you are right, and this is why I likely won't do it...but I am often too curious and too impatient for my own good. LOL. :) The free Chinese baby predictor things say girl...

My RE said the results were like 99% accurate. I would TOTALLY have done it if I had known about it earlier in my preg. Plus, think of all the money you are saving by not doing an injectiable cycle. $275 is nothing. What a few amps of Repronex or something. Okay, so the ttc process and having a dog with cancer has warped my sense of money. Still, I would do it. Or, you could be like me and left guessing till the end. LOL.

I'd do it in a heartbeat! But then, I'm not the patient sort and I always wanted to know. :-) CarolynG
