I began my TTC journey in January 2005. It finally worked with the 5th IUI and along came Eliana! I started trying for a second (T42) a little over a year later, and was thrilled to get pregnant on the second try this time. Jacob soon joined our family! Not sure if I am done at two, but come along for my journey in motherhood. If you stop by, please leave me a short note! I like to know when I have visitors. :)

OH NO!!!

Making jelly tonight with some wonderfully donated blackberry juice (already juiced by someone else...how awesome is that?!) and the pot I was using was too small....and boiled all over my glass flat top stove?! YIKES! How do I clean it? Is it irreparable?

Grrr...I still had two more batches I wanted to do tonight...

Hi Katrina just a note to say that I'm so glad I found your blog. It is so entertaining that I was up till early morning hours reading it all from start to finish. Your daughter is beautiful. I also have PCOS and am TTC a second child with IUI. I have a 3.5 yr old son, Luke. Thanks for sharing your blog. I blog from Luke's point of view but am considering a TTC blog. My Email is snoopy1974w@yahoo.com.

Try a mr clean magic eraser for the berry juice.

I'm sorry this cycle didn't work for you. Wishing you the best of luck for the next.

The jelly sounds good! I would try scraping it with something plastic once it's cool enough, and then try one of the commercial cleaners for smooth top ranges - they have ones that are slightly gritty for removing baked on things. Hope you find something that works!
