I began my TTC journey in January 2005. It finally worked with the 5th IUI and along came Eliana! I started trying for a second (T42) a little over a year later, and was thrilled to get pregnant on the second try this time. Jacob soon joined our family! Not sure if I am done at two, but come along for my journey in motherhood. If you stop by, please leave me a short note! I like to know when I have visitors. :)

Thanks everyone! I think I have decided on a name, but I am not ready to post it yet. :)

Gidgit, I believe this test to be quite accurate as there are some REs/OBs that also trust the results. Plus, they offer a 200% guarantee which means that if half of their predictions were incorrect, they would have done all those tests for $0...which wouldn't be feasible for them. Run a search on "acu-gen" and you come up with quite a few sites about it.

Jen - Technically, teachers start back on Aug 30 and kids come after Labour day..but as a teacher you know that work has already begun. :) LOL

A girl! How jealous am I? :)

We thought our first was a girl (and were wrong) and I had hoped the one in my tummy is a girl, but foiled again. I'm destined to be the only female in the house.

Congratulations! Does this help to make things feel any more real for you?

Carrie - well, I will know for sure it is a girl when I am holding her in my arms, but for now, I am thrilled. :) It does make it a little more real, but I think what will really make it real is when I start showing and feeling the baby move! (although my mom told me she NEVER felt movement...that makes me so sad as that is what I most look forward to!!!)

I can't imagine not feeling any movement. Both of mine so far have been extremely active inside. This one...well there have been moments I've wondered if he didn't have company to help with all that kicking and punching.

I really hope you get to experience the special joy that comes from feeling a little foot (or hand) wedged under your ribcage kicking all your internal organs. Nothing can compare. Seriously. :)

As an aside about the movement thing, my doctor had me do kick counts. I haven't had to do it with the second, but with Enzo, he kept asking me like a broken record,"Felt any movement?"

Good luck with everything! And congratulations again.

I will do that search so that I can recomend it to a couple of pregnant friends! Congrats again! I am soooo happy for you...

Gidgit - I wasn't upset. :) There are obviously lots of people out there who are sceptical...but I decided for me it sounded pretty safe.

Carrie - I have heard about the movement counts and my mom said she just ignored it or lied because she never felt me...thinks its because she was overweight, as am I...oh, I really hope I feel it, even the ribcage kicking;) (remind me of that if I start complaining! LOL)
