I began my TTC journey in January 2005. It finally worked with the 5th IUI and along came Eliana! I started trying for a second (T42) a little over a year later, and was thrilled to get pregnant on the second try this time. Jacob soon joined our family! Not sure if I am done at two, but come along for my journey in motherhood. If you stop by, please leave me a short note! I like to know when I have visitors. :)

Wheezing

Well, I finally took Jacob in for a cough that just would not go away after more than a month. The doctor heard some wheezing and prescribed Amoxicillin. Eliana was allergic to Amoxicillin so I am a little worried that may happen here too..Mostly I am just worried about asthma...I have no experience with asthma and it just scares me. The doctor says there is a 50% chance that this is an isolated incident....hopefully that will be the case.

My daughter was diagnosed with asthma at about 10 months old. It is scary and seems overwhelming for a while, but then it just becomes part of your normal life routine. GOod news is that when the are diagnosed so young, there's a pretty good chance they'll either outgrow it or at least really improve.
Hang in there!
